چکیده

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>We study a class of free boundary systems with nonlocal diffusion, which are natural extensions the corresponding problems reaction diffusion systems. As before represents spreading front species, but here population dispersal is described by "nonlocal diffusion" instead "local diffusion". We prove that such problem has unique global solution, and for models Lotka-Volterra type competition or predator-prey growth terms, we show spreading-vanishing dichotomy holds, obtain criteria vanishing; moreover, weak case predation case, can determine long-time asymptotic limit solution when happens. Compared single species model considered recently in [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="b7">7</xref>], two cases local extensively studied literature, situation this paper involves several new difficulties, overcome use some techniques.</p>

Unsteady free convection flow between two vertical plates with variable temperature and mass diffusion

The unsteady free convection flow between two long vertical parallel plates withvariable temperature and mass diffusion in the presence of the thermal radiation hasbeen presented. The governing dimensionless coupled linear partial differentialequations on the flow are solved by using the Laplace transform technique. TheExact solutions have been obtained for the fluid velocity, temperature and t...

Existence, Asymptotics and Uniqueness of Traveling Waves for Nonlocal Diffusion Systems with Delayed Nonlocal Response

Abstract. In this paper, we deal with the existence, asymptotic behavior and uniqueness of travelingwaves for nonlocal diffusion systems with delay and global response. We first obtain the existence of traveling wave front by using upperlower solutions method and Schauder’s fixed point theorem for c > c∗ and using a limiting argument for c = c∗. Secondly, we find a priori asymptotic behavior of...

Variational Problems with Two Phases and Their Free Boundaries

The problem of minimizing /[Vu|2 + q2(x)\2(v)] dx in an appropriate class of functions v is considered. Here q(x) ¥= 0 and A2(t>) = X2 if v < 0, = X22 if v > 0. Any minimizer u is harmonic in {u ¥= 0} and | Vu|2 has a jump a2(x)(\]-\22) across the free boundary [u ¥= 0). Regularity and various properties are established for the minimizer u and for the free boundary. Introduction. In this paper ...

Here u(x, t), v(x, t) are the densities of two competing species, k1, k2 are diffusion constants (called dispersal rates in the ecological literature), and f, g are smooth functions on Ω̄× R× R satisfying (H1) f(x, ...

Two-Species Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process with Open Boundaries

We study the steady state of the two-species Asymmetric Simple Exclusion Process (ASEP) with open boundary conditions. The matrix product method works for the determination of the stationary probability distribution. Several physical quantities are calculated through an explicit representation for the matrix products. By making full use of the relation with the continuous big q-Hermite polynomi...
